Mentoring Program for Male Teens
THURSDAYS: 7:00-8:45PM
Program designed to support young men during the transition years of moving from boy to man. Male led activities create the core of this experience of men building men.
- Weekly Rap Sessions with lifestyle development focus
- Special events, speakers, and other activities offered
- Community service projects and leadership development encouraged
- College and Adult Male Mentors availible
What I like about the Mentoring Program.....

The thing I liked and still like about this program is that we have a book. Both mentors and mentees give feed back for us all to learn about. I like how we have college mentors, or close to it, who have experience in what we have been through or are going through right now, while it is still fresh in their memories.
For next year we should keep the roses and thorns in the group as a spark to the session. For summer, bring food, play more, reach out to other kids, and give us a chance to minister to other people.

The interaction, fellowship and opportunity to check what I’ve learned to this point is good about the program. I like the mentees energy, curiosity, etc. I think the meetings should continue and we should actively seek out new mentees from within Second. Next year include outdoor activities like hiking, sports, camping and fishing in the summer.
